To remove/uninstall the FaxTalk Merge Macro, follow these steps:
For Microsoft Word 2007:
1. Point to Control Panel, and Add and Remove Programs
2. Select FaxTalk Merge Macro for Word from the list.
3. Click Remove or Uninstall.
4. You are prompted to confirm the removal of FaxTalk Merge Macro for Microsoft
Word 2007.
5. Click OK to start the uninstall.
NOTE: To uninstall. you can also point to the FaxTalk Merge Macro for Word
program group, select Remove FaxTalk Merge Macro for Word option.
If the automatic uninstall fails, or an uninstall option is not available in Windows you can
manually remove the FaxTalk Merge Macro by deleting the FaxTalk Merge Macro file,
follow these steps:
1. Click the Office button, and then click Exit. This will close Microsoft Word
2007.
2. From the Windows desktop, click the Start/Windows button.
3. Point to Search or Find, and search for Programs & Files or All Files and Folders
4. In the Named field, type: FaxTalk2k7.dotm and then click Search.
5. Select the file found in the Office/Startup or Office12/Startup directory.
Press the delete key, and click Yes to confirm.
For Microsoft Word 2002/XP/2003:
1. In Microsoft Word, click the Tools menu, and then click Templates and Add-ins.
2. Uncheck the FaxTalk2k3.dot template, and then click Ok.
3. Click File, and then click Exit. This will close Word.
4. From the Windows desktop, click the Start button.
5. Point to Control Panel, and double-click Add and Remove Programs
6. Select “FaxTalk Merge Macro for Word” from the list of programs and click
“Change/Remove”
NOTE: You can also point to the FaxTalk Merge Macro for Word program group,
select Remove FaxTalk Merge Macro for Word option.

1. In Word, click the Tools menu, and then click Templates and Add-ins.
2. Uncheck the FaxTalk2k3.dot template, and then click Ok.

5. Point to Search, and point to For Files or Folders
6. In the Search field, type: FaxTalk2k3.dot and then click Search Now.
7. Select the file found in the Office/Startup, Office10/Startup or Office11/Startup
directory.
8. Press the delete key, and click Yes to confirm.
Removing FaxTalk icons
If FaxTalk icons or menu options still appear in Word XP/2002/2003, you can remove
them manually. To remove the FaxTalk icons or menu options from the menu bar or
toolbar, follow these steps:
1. Start Word XP/2002/2003.
2. Click Tools, and then click Customize. The Customize dialog box appears.
3. For each of the FaxTalk menu options that appear, you will need to drag and
drop the item to the Customize dialog box.
Select one of the items below that you want to remove, and drag and drop the
item to the Customize dialog box. You will need to repeat this step for each item
you wish to remove.
·The FaxTalk Fax icon that appears in the Toolbar.
·The FaxTalk option that appears on the File menu.
·The FaxTalk Mail Merge option that appears on the Tools menu.
