Upgraded to Windows 7 or Windows Vista and require a replacement for WinFax PRO?
If you’ve upgraded to Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows 2008, you’ll find that WinFax PRO is no longer functioning properly. We’ve posted the technical reasons for this in some of our other articles, as an alternative, we recommend replacing your WinFax PRO software with FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro or another FaxTalk fax software product.
FaxTalk software is available in three different versions depending on your needs, FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro as a replacement to WinFax PRO for faxing, FaxTalk Messenger Pro, as a replacement for TalkWorks PRO (it is WinFax with voice support if you have the proper fax/voice modem) and FaxTalk Multiline Server (a networking fax software that supports up to 8 fax modems at once, a replacement for WinFax PRO Fax Sharing)

Symantec WinFax PRO and Microsoft Windows 7 compatibility June 3rd, 2009
Many of you held off upgrading from XP to Vista are considering the upgrade to Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 7, but are wondering if many of your existing applications such as WinFax PRO will work.
WinFax PRO and TalkWorks PRO (the fax/voice version of Symantec’s popular fax software) still have a strong user base and many of you don’t want to give up this powerful and easy to use desktop faxing software.
Unfortunately, Windows 7, doesn’t change the compatibility issues with WinFax PRO that were introduced with Microsoft Vista. As expected, the same compatibility issues with WinFax PRO and TalkWorks PRO also exist with Windows 7. Read the rest of this entry »
