Ok, so I’ll assume that the data you want is (was) on the Notebook machine?

The first step is to determine where WinFax is looking to load your phonebooks and logs (message stores)

On your notebook, click START, RUN and type REGEDIT.
You need to find the “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREDelrinaCommSuite7.0Phonebooks” key.
Navigate to the “Phonebooks” folder by clicking on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then SOFTWARE, then DELRINA, COMMSUITE, 7.0 and finally PHONEBOOKS.
Do not change any information found in this registry!

You’ll find the name of the phonebook(s) listed here (for example (My Phonebook) and then you’ll see a “Path” in the right hand window. Path should show the complete path and filename of the phonebook. List what is displayed here.

Follow the same steps to list the paths for the Log(s) if they are available. Instead of “Phonebooks” in the last step, use “LOGS”. If there is no “+” beside the word “LOGS” then WinFax is not loading any additional message stores.
