Its possible that the send and receive logs are corrupt,

I would first make a back up copy of your WinFax or TalkWorks folder with all your data,
and ensure that the Controller and Fax Manager are shut down. (wfxctl32.exe and faxmng32.exe ) as well as the TalkWorks telephone if you use it.

In the WinFax or TalkWorks folder, you should have a file called rebuild.bat, run this file and then select the “status.wfb” file from the list of files.

This should rebuild your log structure.

After you do this, reboot the PC and try starting TalkWorks again.
