MemberHi,
Thanks for your help again.
My winfax host is installed on a windows 2000 prof. Before everything was fine, now, when it receives a fax, people have to wait for 8 rings instead of 2 as set in Winfax controller( I checked, that is still there)
***also, when I reboot the computer,it says like : your computer
is configured as a winfax message sharing host. Some of the setting of your computer needed to be changed accordingly. Please restart the computer to enable the changes.
I reboot,but no use,everytime,this message comes out.
Could you tell me the possible reasons?
Please help.Thanks a lot.John

MemberMake sure you log on to Windows 2000 with administrator rights.
Then, follow these steps to run “wtnsetup.exe” from your WinFax PRO directory:
Exit all open applications.
Click Start, point to Find, and click Files or Folders. The Find dialog box appears.
From the Look In drop-down list, select the drive onto which you installed WinFax PRO/TalkWorks PRO.
Check Include subfolders (if not already checked).
In the Named field, type wtnsetup.exe and click Find Now. Windows displays all files matching the search criteria.
Double-click the found file. This will launch the Configuration Wizard.
Follow the Configuration Wizard through reconfiguring the modem, as well as setting up a new location.
Click Finish, and restart the system.
