    Hi,

    I was wondering if there is a config setting for Winfax 10.02 that will make it behave like a normal fax machine where it will determine if the incoming call is a fax call or not and either process it if it is, or pass it to the telephone if not.

    My modem is a Practical Peripherals PM336MTINET modem which doesn’t support distinctive ring. Running on XP Pro SP2.

    No, distinctive ring is an option to make this work so only calls with the specific ring pattern (distinctive ring setting) will answer as fax, and all other calls are not answered by WinFax.
