    The computer is left running 24/7, and some days when the computer is left for the night with automatic receive enabled, when we come back the next morning, it is disabled. Just throwing this out as a last ditch effort to try and work with this blasted program. I have version 10.04 on WinXP SP2.

    Is Automatic receive turned on in WinFax Setup (under Receive)
    and # of rings ?

    Do you have multiple users setup in Windows XP? (Fast User Switching?) do you often switch users while the controller is active?
