Every time I boot with my XP Pro machine I get a message from something regarding WinFax that allows options of switch to or retry. What is going on here? Hitting switch to makes the message go away and the boot completes.
Do you have a scanner? or an all-in-one printer with a built in scanner? Usually this message appears when there is a timing issue trying to access the TWAIN (scanner interface) in Windows. It could be a bad driver, or a left-over file from a printer that was removed-uninstalled.
