When copying or moving faxes the title copies or moves but the fax filed don’t

This sometimes is a problem with some Windows 2000 and XP systems with some specific hard drives with more than 4GB free of space on the drive where the WinFax data is installed

Here’s the easiest workaround — This workaround will function if you are not using fax sharing (if you are using fax sharing, you’ll get an error regarding DCOM , you can then continue to move/copy faxes to other folders but you will not be able to connect to the Host – revert to the original settings after copying or moving your log entries)

Close WinFax/Fax Manager and Controller if already active.
locate the file FAXMNG32.EXE in your WinFax folder.
right-click the file, and select Properties.
    Click on the Compatibility Tab.
Enable the Compatibility Mode option “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select “Windows 98/Windows Me” as the drop down selection. Click APPLY, then OK.
    Now start WinFax.

UPDATE: We have an update in WinFax Tools that properly fixes this problem .
