I’m brand-new to this program. Any ideas?
Thanks a million.

when do you get this error message? what steps do you perform ?
you may want to rebuild the logs and phonebooks, see the “rebuilding logs and phonebooks” pinned topic in the Logs and Phonebooks forum.

MemberI’ve done that. Followed all error messages I could think of. I attach the fax, select the list and get to final sending phase when I get that error.

your going to have to be more specific, because attaching a fax doesn’t really tell me what your attaching. Where you are faxing from? what application? are you printing to the WinFax PRO printer driver? are you attaching a FXS file? or a .DOC file?
are you sending a cover page with your fax attachment?what is the final sending phase? is this after it actually dials and sends the fax? (you see “Training…” “Negotiating…” “Sending… ” etc.)
also, you didn’t mention the operating system and version of WinFax PRO you are using. (Help, About WinFax…)
here is what Symantec has on this error
