    I am trying to install a new antivirus program and it keeps telling me I have to uninstall Winfax Pro but I have searched everywhere on my computer but cannot find the file. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    What anti-virus software is asking you to uninstall WinFax PRO?

    If you need to remove WinFax PRO then you should review the steps on how to uninstall WinFax PRO

    here is a link with some suggestions if you cannot perform an “Uninstall” from the Add/Remove Programs in Windows.

    Hi and thanks for the informative reply. I installed Avast in order to see if Winfax was still on my hard drive after uninstalling through add/remove and it still is. I will take your suggestion

    Avast requires Norton Anti-Virus to be removed/uninstalled before it will work. I don’t believe it requires WinFax to be uninstalled.
