Just loaded WinFax Pro 10.0 into a new computer. Am using XP Professional for the OS … was able to import all old faxes, phone book, cover pages, etc. All works fine except I can’t set the area code for dialing properties or store/edit phone numbers. I have to manually enter the 9 for outside lines and 1 for long distance into all old phone numbers. Whenever I try to put the cursor into one of the entry lines to enter, store/edit any of these items the program crashes and I have to reboot the computer to restore winfax to functionality. Any suggestions?

This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 7 installed on the same machine with WinFax PRO. Please see the post “Internet Explorer 7 and WinFax PRO problems”

did you also have CA Anti-SpyWare 2007 installed on that same machine? (or other CA product?)
