    My neighbor has a fax machine, so I know for sure it is on my end. Symantec’s solutions/FAQ didn’t help, so I am here. My modem is a 3COM cable model through comcast.net. I disabled the “detect dial tone” to no avail. My configuration was through the Win Lucent option. I have a feeling this one should be fairly simple to you guys. Any replies would be helpful.

    what happens when you try to send a fax? can you provide more details?
