I notice 90 percent of time when I start computer it does a log and verification and stores a log of it in the data file. Is this normal? can I delete the old files created by the data verification in the data file or better to leave it?, and will these files created by data verification affect amount of send and receive slots available?
Log verfication occurs when WinFax wasn’t shut down properly. This is common occurance when you have WinFax open (Active), and shut down your PC. To avoid this problem, close down WinFax and the Controller manually before shutting down the PC.
no the log files that get created are backup copies of the log files it attempts to check. These can be deleted but they don’t affect operation of WinFax
