When I open a PDF document in Adobe Acobat Professional 8.0 and I try to send to WinFax Pro 10.03 I get the following error:
Winfax is not active for this User Account. Please start controller and try again.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

wfxsnt40.exe is found in your WIndowsSystem32 or WinNTSystem32 directory.

May 23, 2007 at 11:58 am #5427dssxxxxMemberI have no problem printing from MS Word or other documents but only when I open PDF documents in Adobe or try and print from an Epson scanner connected by USB.
And yes wfxsnt40.exe is running.
Anything else?
TIA

Winfax is not active for this User Account. Please start controller and try again.
The workaround that worked for me is you need to start the WinFax Controller first, then print to Adobe.

It worked.
Again, this is a great forum for getting all your answers regarding WinFax.
Thanks.
