    Several of the machines on my network cannot connect to the server. I am using XP Prof SP2 and as far as I can tell, all machines are set up the same but half get the message: Cannot connect tow Winfax host sever xxxxx. Check that you have an account. They ping fine.

    what version of winfax?
    have you applied the specific COM security settings to firewall and WinFax.Attachment components on the host, if you’re running 10.03 or lower?
