Hi,

If i double click on a saved fax file ( .fxm, .fxd ) the viewer usually opens for just a second, then closes. Sometimes it works. If I open the viewer first, then navigate to the file, usually it works, but is more time consuming. Any tips ?

try the following:

In WinFax Tools, click on Fix Number Entry Problem button.
Wait a few moments for it to process, and then follow the steps in the dialog box that appears.

Reboot system and try again.

If you continue to experience problems, click on Install & Setup Tools button, then click START WTNSETUP. Go through the setup screen for WinFax.

This should properly configure the Viewer.

I have tried both procedures. The Viewer behaves as before, it only opens for just a second ( literally ) , then closes.

what version of WinFax are you using?

what does WinFax Info button report?
