After Windows adjusted daylight savings time/standard time, you now cannot use many of the WinFax or TalkWorks functions because your program has been reverted to a “Basic Edition” version.
Here is the solution (quick and harmless fix):
1. Exit all open programs (including Controller) and stop the WinFax PRO service if running Windows NT.
2. Click Start, point to Find, and click Files or Folders. The Find dialog box appears.
3. Select the drive where you installed WinFax PRO/TalkWorks PRO from the Look In drop-down list.
4. In the Named field, type wtnsetup.exe and click Find Now. Windows will find and display all files matching the search criteria in the lower half of the Find dialog box.(Note, Windows Me or 2000 may have different search methods )
5. Double-click the Wtnsetup.exe file and follow the prompts through reconfiguring WinFax PRO/TalkWorks PRO.
6. Restart the system for the changes to take effect.
7. Restart WinFax PRO or TalkWorks PRO.You should now be back in business.
