In program setup under dailing and location I can’t enter any area code or phone # without getting General Fault/Exception has occurred. I am using WinFax Pro 10.0 with XP Pro and Office 2003. I just reformatted my computer and reinstalled everything. WinFax worked perfectly before with no issues at all. In symantex’s knowledge base under WinFax Pro 10.02 in the general tab I tried solution 16.18 to no avail. I can send faxes but have not tried to receive any as yet.

Please disregard. I tried the solution listed under WinFax hangs or shuts down and it worked. Thank you very much for the support. TK

Same problem here. Do you remember what was the solution? The symantec’s knowledge base seems to be closed now.

The solution is listed in the Install & Setup forum, under Hangs or closes when entering a number, csid etc.
