I am setting Winfax Pro 9.0 up for the first time. Got Windows XP and an external Zyxel Omni 56K Com modem. Am trying to send a test fax which went through the first time and has failed the next four times. I am getting a “Line busy” error.
Any ideas?
Check cable connections, make sure you are getting a dial tone on the same phone line by plugging a regular phone into the telephone jack on the external modem. Also make sure WinFax is not set (or is set) to use a prefix (if required on your phone line)
Make sure your local area code and telephone is setup in the Dialing and Location Setup.
