when receiving a fax on winfax pro 10.02 operation in the line status dialog box shows “receiving page (ECM MMR)” then page rejected (ECM MMR) it swaps between both messages for 5-6 times then eventually accepts the fax. It has only recently statrted to do this after working fine since i installed winfax over 2 months ago. i have tried unchecking ECM for sending and receiving and high speed compression in modem properties it seems to work fine when ECM receiving is not ticked but the fax is slightly distorted. Any fixes please.
what type of fax modem?
what class settings? 1,2? maybe try class 2 or 2.0 if your modem supports it.also ensure you have installed the latest drivers released by intel for this modem
