Applications: Winfax pro 10. & Microsoft Access 2000 mdb (vendlist)

Situation: MDB is hosted on a webserver for venders to update there contact information.
winfax located at my office.

I want to link the MDB to winfax pro via internet connection. Thant way everytime i pull winfax pro up it
pulls the current phone log mdb from the internet host site via dsl.

other info: I found where you can do a odbc32 but that requires the mdb to be on the server in the office.

Problem is: mdb is on a web hosting server outside the office.

Question: Any ideas or solutions?

As far as I am aware, the database file needs to be accessible on your PC locally. It might be possible that you download the database and store it locally, it just wouldn’t be updated immediately until after a new local download.

if you’re dealing with fax information that is updated frequently,then it might not be an option.

SQL is also accessed via ODBC
