    I am trying to download Winfax documents with extension fxs and fxm. I could not find what mime type to be used so that documents will be correctly opened using fax viewer. e.g. for word documents with extension .doc we use application/msword for gif images we use image/gif. Thank you for your help.

    fxs,fxm uses proprietory WinFax format. To open these files, you need to install WinFax PRO or the WinFax PRO Mini viewer. This will install the appopriate file associations so they will open with the correct application in Windows.
