Could you let me know if I can change over to a normal phone number on the software or must it always be a fax number? If you can change, please direct me where with thanks.

you can type in any number in the WinFax setup

When receiving fax the system freezes and a restart is required and after rebooting all previous faxed are lost. How can I prevent this from happening?
