We have phone numbers within our Area Code that are local and long distance. WinFax Help states to create and Area Code Rule in Program Setup – Dialing and Location – Location Tab – Select Location for which you want to create an Area Code Rule or click New to create and then Click Area Code Rule Button. The problem is there is not Area Code Rule Button for existing location or newly created.

The faxes to the long distance numbers within our Area Code are not being sent.

How do I resolve when there is no Area Code Rule Button.

All help would be greatly appreciated.

In Program Setup, select Dialing & Location, click on the Location Tab, then change the Country drop down list from “United States (1)” to “Canada (1)”
The area code rule button should appear.

If not, from the same setup screen, click the General tab. then click Advanced.
Make sure you have “WinFax PRO dialing ” selected. Then try again changing the country to “Canada (1)”
