We have winfax set up to receive faxes automatically and print them immediately after. All of a sudden these faxes aren’t printing but several days later will print ahead of other print jobs. They may reprint themselves several days later. Please advise.

A few years ago in a technical document, Symantec had acknowledged that a problem existed where faxes were not automatically printed to the network printer after a period of time, but never provided any solution. I’ll post the details if I can find it again.

Is this on a PC that is always on and rarely rebooted/restarted? and approximately how many faxes does WinFax print automatically between reboots?

I’m guessing what happened is that WinFax stopped automatically printing the faxes, and you probably received dozens of faxes during that time. When you rebooted the computer, or restarted WinFax, it determined that these faxes needed to be printed and started the print job of all those faxes in your receive log.
