    Hi,
I have winfax 10 running on Win2000 server for sending fax messages, and there is no problem with that.
The problem is about the send log, after successfully sending a fax message, the log record only appear for about a second in the send log and then disappear forever.
Is it possible to retain the log as long as we want?

I have configured message management not to automatically delete log.
I also have rebuilt STATUS.WFB using delfix.exe and removed all STATUS*.* files before restarting the application.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

If your using a Host/Client then your fax should move from the outbox and appear in your send log as a successful fax (check mark) or a failed fax (x)

if faxes appear in your outbox as sending, but then never appear (or vanish) from your send log. then you might want to try shutting down WinFax and the Controller, and then rename the following registry keys. This will reset your folder / log window positions and column headings.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareDelrinaWinfax7.0MDILog
    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareDelrinaWinfax7.0LogMDISpreadSettings
    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareDelrinaWinfax7.0LogMDIFolderSettings

    To:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareDelrinaWinfax7.0MDILogOLD
    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareDelrinaWinfax7.0LogMDISpreadSettingsOLD
    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareDelrinaWinfax7.0LogMDIFolderSettingsOLD

    Then restart WinFax PRO…

    Hi…
    Thanks for your respond.

I have tried the solution you gave me, and it worked for sometime, but after I restarted the computer and sent another fax, the log began to disappear seconds after it appeared in send log.

Then I re-installed WinFax, but it still goes the same.

I have checked the configuration and I don’t see anything wrong about it.

Do you have any other solution?

    Thank you very much.

Have you tried updating your video drivers, and/or change color to 16 bit instead of 32 bit (or Medium/High) etc.
sometimes video drivers can cause problems with MDI windows in WinFax PRO

    Hi….
    thanks for your relpy.

My computer has already been set to 16bit high color, even before this problem happens.

Another information, the logs that disappear from send log are the successfull ones, the failed messages are still in send log.

    Any idea?

    Thanks for responding.

Do you have Filters enabled? Click on the Send Log folder, then right-click, Filter
Click Reset to reset filter if enabled.
