I have used Smith Micro Hot Fax Message Center for years, but it has bittne the dust. No longer will support be given.

I have installed WinFax Pro 10.03 (2 times) and it seems to work for my present needs.

The problem:

About every three times, every 2 months I send a fax to my address book (was able to recover all 1000 names from HF) which is about 1000 names. The first time I made a folder and sent to them all and ‘puter froze and needed a format and clean install.

This time, I am selecting each name individually and send all at the same time. The progrqam send about 6-10 faxes and stops. I need to re-boot and then it will send another 6-10. With 1000 faxes, this can be trying.

Any suggestions?

any error messages in your logs? have you rebuild the send/receive logs?
are faxes still in your outbox waiting to be sent?

No error messages………..I ‘think” I have rebuilt the logs and all the faxes are still in the outbox.

It seems to happen right after I either get a couple busy signals or no answer.
