I’m having some minor problems with Winfax. I’m using 10.03 with XP Pro.

Firstly, occasionally Winfax will throw a error when a phonebook is clicked, saying that the phonebook is corrupt, or disabled. When this happens, all the other phonebooks will be corrupt or disabled as well. There is a workaround, in the form of creating a dummy book, then deleting and recreating it.

Also, the connection between Word and Winfax is finicky, as documents sent from Word will sometimes not reach Winfax.

In the fax writing screen, the ‘save as attachment’ button will sometimes not listen, as if the program wants to send the fax right away.

Finally, Winfax will sometimes lock up, and refuse to work until the computer is reset.

These aren’t serious, of course, but they are irritating. If anyone knows of any settings, or fixes to get rid of these errors altogether, please let me know. Thanks.

Have you tried rebuilding phonebooks & logs ?
That would be a starting point. There is a link to the steps to accomplish this in the main forum page.
