Hi, we are using WinFax Pro 10.2 on a Win2K box with USRobitics 56K external modems for receiving of faxes. Some faxes are received just fine, but others from certain customers include blank pages showing only the time/date stamp of the sending fax machine. Some times we receive blanks along with the actual text pages while other times we receive only blanks.

It seems to be just certain sending fax machines. When those senders transmit faxes to our regular fax machines rather than to our WinFax PC’s, they are received correctly without blank pages.

Is it a speed incompatibility issue?

Any help is most appreciated.

Try turning off the ECM for receiving option. also USR modems generally have problems with some specific fax machines…usually Pitney Bowes or Xerox type machines
