Our company has been using winfax pro 10 with xp pro for some time now, and we have a fairly high volume of faxes that come thru (30+ per day). A lot of the time the faxes dont come thru, and the winfax mod shows “not responding”. Usually the person trying to fax us needs to re-fax after I “end task” on the winfax mod in the task manager. that usually clears it up. CONSTANT PROBLEM! anybody have any simalar problems or maybe a suggestion or two? anything would be appreciated. 🙂
This can be anything from a conflict with the modem and another device or software using the modem such as Windows XP Fax, a conflict with another application such as Outlook 2003, or problems with the modem drivers themselves. Low cost software based fax modems can also cause these types of problems when system resources are low.
