I was having trouble with winfax and deleted it with windows delete program then tried to reinstall and it will not install because it says there is an earlier version that needs to be deleted. There are a few files still remaining under the winfax in the c:/ drive under programs that did not delete and I cannot delete them as they are aparently protected. How can I delete or bypass these files so I can reinstall winfax?
Make sure the WinFax Service is shut down and WFXSNT40.EXE is shut down before deleting these files manually.
A WinFax remove tool is available in the Premium Download section, it will remove all traces of WinFax PRO from the registry and the hard drive (except for your Data)
