I installed Winfax 10.2 a while back and haven’t used it more than twice.

Yesterday I wanted to send a fax for my girlfriend, and have her name and number appear in the “from” area of the fax cover page. I can’t see how to do that. From what I see in this forum, it looks like that can only be done by hacking the registry. Is there something that I’m missing?

Fax UserControl allows you to do this automatically, you can download it from the Downloads page on this site. Or, you can simply manually change the name and fax number each time you want to send a fax. Under Program Setup (Tools, Program Setup) click User. Here you can change the name & fax number information.

I can’t tell you how many times I looked at the setup panels and I didn’t see “user”. Sometimes the obvious is overlooked!
