MemberHello,
I am trying to use winfax to send mass faxes. I have things set up to use fax sharing. We are sending the mass faxes from the client. The message that we are getting is “Access is denied. on last attempt”
Sending a normal fax works fine.
Thanks in advance for the help!

KeymasterCan you provide more details? Are you getting Access Denied when you are trying to connect to a WinFax Host machine?
using WinFax PRO 10.03 on client and host? Windows XP? Service Packs?

MemberWe are using winfax 10.03 on client and host Windows XP service pack 3. The access denied error is displayed within winfax pro. When you go into Winfax Message manager and look at the Send log. All of the faxes that failed are listed with a red X. Selecting a record allows you to look at the details. In the details it says: Access is denied. on last attempt.

KeymasterOn the client, close the Controller (right click the yellow-icon in the system tray and click Exit) then restart the WinFax Controller. If you are connected to the Host, you should see a Please Wait message followed by a large dialog box appear with Receive Now, Show All Messages and Close buttons.
Do you see this ? or do you get an error message when it attempts to connect to the Host?

KeymasterSo if you send a single fax through the client, it will transmit the fax to the Host, and the Host sends the fax?
Can you describe how you are sending the mass faxes?
