KeymasterI am not sure what JustFax is. Are you using the WinFax SDK?
What version of WinFax PRO?What type (filename) of attachment are using adding using .AddAttachmentFile ?

Memberyes, i am using WinFax SDK.
ths version of winfax pro is 10.02
My OS is XP Professional SP3
the type of attachment is .xlsthanks

Keymasterwe don’t recommend using 10.02 with XP for SDK. This has bugs in this version and SDK does not function properly. Recommend to obtain version 10.03, or downgrade to 10.0 or 10.01
You can test if there is a problem converting attachments of XLS files by setting WinFax PRO printer as default printer in Windows, then right-click XLS file in Explorer, select Print.

Keymasterthis patch will not function with Italian version of WinFax
try locating the attach.db file in the WinFaxDATA folder
Exit WinFax PRO & Controller
then rename this file to attach.oldMarch 10, 2010 at 11:49 am #8582abkar
Memberwhy do i need rename attach.db to attach.old ?
The path needs to install cd, and my problem is unknown version in ABOUT.CFGif the patch will not function with Italian version of WinFax, so I can not do the update (or downgrade)?

Participantrenaming attach.db has nothing to do with the patch update, the patch update does not work with Italian version of WinFax.
ITry renaming attach.db in regards to the problem with the error converting the attachment file.

KeymasterTry the following:
1. Start WinFax Tools.
click on “WinFax No Pages Fix” button.
Choose Yes to check compatibility
Note any messages that appear.
You should see message at the end “Problems …” etc. with either no problems or problems found.2. Start WinFax PRO (make sure controller is active)
In control panel, go to printer. select WinFax printer, right click, properties.
click Print Test Page.
Does Windows XP printer test page appear in WinFax Send fax window?
Click Insert, Fax. and and try attaching another type of file. such a .txt or .doc
what are the results?March 11, 2010 at 10:47 am #8586abkar

Keymasterthe problem exists in version 10.02 with SDK under Windows XP.
You must change to 10.03, or downgrade to 10.0 or 10.01March 15, 2010 at 12:02 pm #8590abkar
