Greetings. Have searched, browsed and also RTFM but I remain unclear on this issue. I have XP pro machines: one a dedicated server/host and 3 clients successfully integrated. All faxes received on the host can be manually retrieved by the clients. All faxes sent from individual clients show up on host sent log. How can client 1 see the host’s sent log to check if a fax by client 2, 3 or 4 was sent successfully?
Unfortunately, you can’t do that. Each client is independent, you do not receive information about other clients sent faxes. The Host will only send back information of success or failure of a fax that was sent by that client.
A possible workaround for you would be to use some sort of remote access software (VNC) on a client machine to access the Host remotely. Then you can check the Host’s send log to determine if the fax was complete or not. Or, you can access Client 1, 2, or 3 via remote access and do the same.
