    When I try to attache a file in the SEND FAX window it goes to my printer instead and prints the file instead of attaching it to my fax.

    I checked the printer option in the control panel and it is not set to Winfax

    I’m using Winfax Pro 10.03 on a HP running XP

    what happens when you attempt to print a test page from the Control Panel, Printer, WinFax printer and WinFax (Photo Quality) printers?

    Make sure WinFax is open before you print a test page.
