Had 10.03, went back to a prior image after installing WinXP SP3 and now have 10.02. Searched the net for 2 hours today and couldn’t find a download (except 1 for $99!). And can’t locate the 10.03 disk, if I ever had one.

Does anyone happen to know where it can be found?

Symantec never released a 10.03 update file, it was a complete install image. Either you had the CD rom and misplaced it, or you downloaded a CD image from Symantec and installed that and have misplaced (or deleted) the install files.

You should be ok with version 10.02 and wouldn’t be too concerned unless there is a specific problem you’re having (like fax merge , or ACT! 6.0/5.0 support)

Yes, having a specific problem for the past few months in that cannot weekly connect to a couple of fax machines. No particular reason for this and was hoping installing a new version would overcome it.

I had found 10.0.3 somewhere on the net and installed it a couple of months ago, but now have gone back to a prior image and can’t locate where it was found. Could copy over the folder from the later image, but that wouldn’t do anything for the registry — assuming there are changes.

No, you can’t simply copy an image/folder of WinFax files to a new computer because there are several files that are located in the windows folder that belong to WinFax, and then there are some the registry entries that are prepared during the installation process.

Regardless, 10.03 will not correct any send/receive problems connecting to a fax machine.
