Is it possible to have winfax pro use more than one modem at the same time on my Win XP PC.
I have two lines, and hopefully I can install a second modem.
I am hoping to make faxing to multiple destinations faster.
I use faxes for markerting purposes.
I am wondering if somebody has tried this before I go thorugh the hassle.
Thanks.September 8, 2003 at 5:22 pm #6658AnonymousMemberYes, WinFax PRO 10 will support 2 modems and will send and or receive at the same time.

I have already tried it and had to struggle with a number of fax/modem cards before I could get it to work. I found a document in the support area on Symantec site explaining things about using different types of cards (or different drivers) and the use of “TAPI” and “COM?” combination.
Anyway, it was a good exercise and I am glad with the result now that everything is working fine.
Thank you once again for your reply.

I recommend buying old EXTERNAL modems from eBay, such as the Supra 28.8KBps Fax Modem or the 14KBps Fax Modem. Get a dual serial port in your PC and hook them up. It works great.
