We have a vendor who says that sometimes they only receive part of a fax (e.g. only page 2 of a two page fax). But WinFax Send Log says that two pages were sent.

Any ideas why only part of the fax made it to the vendor? It is my understanding that sometimes the whole fax makes it to the vendor.

We are using WinFax 10.03, US Robotics modem, Windows XP.

line noise and the modem setup can cause failures in sending a fax.
I would suggest disable ECM for Sending in the setup of the Fax Modem (Program Setup , Modems & Communication Devices)
