    We are running WinFax Pro 10 on our network. The two computers that are trying to connect to the host display this message when trying to open the controller to view received faxes:

    “WFXCTL32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.”

    Also, they receive this other message:
    “…unable to connect to WinFax Pro Host station…Problem: Unspecified Error.”

    We are still able to receive faxes at the host station, this problem with the other computers connecting to the WinFax Host station is a recent occurrence. According to everyone, there was nothing different that they did. Nothing new was installed and no configurations were changed.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Usually when you get this error, the only solution is to restart the Host machine. Make sure none of the clients are connected, and then reboot the Host machine.
