    HELLO,
I’VE BEEN WORKING ON WINFAX PRO FOR YEARS. REALLY ENJOYED IT.
NOW, BECAUSE OF SYSTEM UPGRADE, NEED TO MOVE ON.
WHAT IS THE BEST FAX PROGRAM FOR SINGLE COMP. STATION?
    NO NEED FOR SERVER/NETWORK FAX.
WINFAX (BASIC) FEATURES WERE SATISFACTORY ENOUGH.
    I.E.
    SELF DESIGNED COVER PAGE
    IMPORT/INSERT FILES
    TIMED (POSTPONED) SENDING
SENDING SAME FAX TO MORE THEN ONE #
SAVE RECEIVED FAX AS A JPG FILE – SECOND PREFERENCE: AS A TIFF FILE
    FORWARD VIA EMAIL
LONG SHOT… CAN OPEN/DEAL WITH SAVED WINFAX DOCUMENTS ?
ANOTHER SHOT IN THE DARK… CAN DEAL EASLY WITH “RIGHT TO LEFT” LANGUAGE (SUCH AS HEBREW) ?
    THANKS,
    RONNIE

    Hello Ronnie,

    FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro 8
    http://www.getfaxing.com/faxtalk

Yes you can import WinFax Phonebooks and logs if WinFax is installed on the same machine where FaxTalk is installed.
You can send e-mail as a TIFF or PDF file, or native FAX format used by FaxTalk.
You can save (export) faxes as TIFF, PDF or FAX files.
    You can send multiple faxes.
You can delay (schedule) outgoing faxes.
    You can insert (attach) documents.
You can design custom cover pages, or use pre-designed cover pages included with FaxTalk.

As for right-left languages, I am not sure how it will handle this. Since this is the job of the operating system, it should be fine.

And… in case you know – how is “FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro 8” in comparison to “************” (which was also recomended to me) ?
Pls. note my E-Mail when answered.
    Thanks,
    Ronnie

I suggest you try the versions out (both offer trial periods) and compare them. We’re familiar with FaxTalk and how it compares with WinFax as we are authorized resellers of FaxTalk.

Will fax talk allow linking a phonebook to an SQL database table and does it provide the ability to use a signature stamp?

No, it doesn’t support linking external phonebooks, such as SQL

There is no specific feature called Signature stamp, but you can do this by simply inserting a graphic image on any fax. The image would be a signature.
