Recently, when we boot up the Winfax Messenger Mgr hangs up, and I get a message saying “Server Busy…switch to other program, or retry”.

Retry, just gives me the same message… Switch, doesn’t do anything either? It also hangs the PC up, and I can’t even do Ctrl-Alt-Del at this point…

After numerous re-boots, and getting to Ctrl-Alt-Del before Message Mgr start, the only processes running are:
1. Winfax MOD – Agere Systems PCI…
2. Winfax Message Manager

I am going to take Message Mgr out of the Startup… and see what is going on. Any ideas?

Disable the following WinFax processes if they are running,

Wfxsrv , faxmng32, wfxmod32, wfxctl32

then try starting the WinFax Controller.
