My computer is an AMD XP1400 running Win Xp Home Edition.
I’ve been using Winfax Pro 10 for quite some time now and never had this happen before. But suddenly it started doing this.
When I try to add a new recipient to the phone book, it allows me to fill in the fields until I get to the fax number, then when I try to add that, it closes the window on me. How frustrating!
I can’t figure out what might have caused this.

I was unaware of the thread before, but someone from usenet referred me to it. I had no idea the problem was caused by installing MSIE 7. Drat! i went and deleted dot.net 2 and Microsoft Web Designer, which I thought may have been the cause, but that didn’t work. I used your fix and it worked, thanks!
