MemberWhen I set the receive option in the program setup to automatic receive the program loads the Winfax driver and all is well until I shut down and restart the next day. Although it in my startup lineup the module does not seem to load and I have to reset the receive option to auto answer again.
Am running version 10.0 on Win XP home. Never had this problem before.
Any ideas on how to cure it?

MemberIts likely a registry problem, since the settings for autoreceive are stored in the registry. I would assume that the problem is due to 10.0 and Windows XP. You may require 10.02.
Here is where the autoreceive data is stored

MemberDon you have the correct setting which must be in the registry so I can hack it if it is not correct.
Many thanks

Membercheck this key, value should be set to “1” for Autoreceive to be on. You might want to run WinFax, and see if autorx is turned on. If it isn’t, then go to this registry key and check the value.

Values : 0 (off) or 1 (on)
hope that helps you out.

MemberIf the canon is a class 1 or class 2, 2.0 type fax device it should work with WinFax. You need to go to the WinFax Setup and add the fax device.
As for the SDK, it is already installed when you install WinFax. For details , see the Downloads section
