My host machine that runs Winfax10.02 on Win98 gets a ‘winfax controller protection fault’ and then I need to reboot to receive more faxes. Has anybody experienced this and solved the problem?
I noted that the Symantec site didn’t have a known answer to my problems…
Can anybody else help.

Rogerwhat is the module name where the protection fault occurs? usually this will be some sort of .DLL file .
Have you already tried performing a ‘rebuild’ of the logs and phonebooks?
(closr WinFax and the Controller, then double click rebulid.bat from the WinFax folder, and select the status.wfb file and click OK)
