I have 2 Vonage Phone Lines and 1 Vonage Fax Line. I am not able to send very many faxes over Vonage Fax Line because of “communication errors”. I have had my cable line and cable modem checked out by Adelphia. I have tried several settings for my internal modem. I am using Windows XP SP 2.
fax over IP isn’t too reliable, so with that said, the only thing you really have control of is your modem settings and hope by adjusting them you can send faxes via the Vonage Fax Line.
you didn’t mention what type of fax modem and what settings you have already tried, so the only thing I can suggest it limiting the send speed to 9600 bps.
