Really Need Help!
I have recently installed All Updates for Server 2003 and apart from not being able to enable the host sharing fax thing i can no longer automatically print after received.
i have the modem attached to the server which is set up (was) as the fax host sharing.
I have a printer attched to one of the computers attached to the network (same as server) but the server will no longer connect to the computer and automatically print received faxes!!Please suggest – no symantec references – they are useless.
Print on Receive has always been a problem with WinFax under Windows NT operating systems. Its been such a problem that Symantec eventually claimed that networked printers are not supported with Print on Receive.
They also claim incompatibility with Windows Advanced Server 2003.
Can you not move the WinFax host machine to another PC running Windows 2000 or Windows XP, with a local printer connected?
