    How can I get winfax not to start up with windows startup? I went into msconfig/startup but can’t find the process. Any help appreciated. Am on xp, sp2

    if its the WinFax Controller you don’t want starting with Windows, then you need to remove it from the STARTUP group (in your START menu , PROGRAMS…)

    I couldn’t find it there, but eventually found it in “services”…..seems to be ok now. thanks for your time.
