I am having trouble to set up WIN Fax with my new ADSL USB modem and PPPoE adapter. Please assist as how to go about to get this working.
Thanks.DSL modems are not fax modems, so you will not be able to configure it for use it with WinFax. You will need to install an analogue fax modem (Class 1, Class 2 or Class 2.0 type) in your PC to be able to send faxes via your telephone line (POTS)
Your ADSL Modem will only be used to connect to the internet, and yes you could configure WinFax to use Internet Fax but this is a PAY service offered by Concord Fax.
(See the Internet Fax section for details) in this case you would only configure WinFax to use Concord Fax and it would use your internet connection via your ADSL modem to send faxes.
